Enjoying Balinese nasi campur meal (mixed rice) does not have to go to Bali. In Jakarta, several restaurants serve Balinese Nasi Campur with complete side dishes which are suitable for lunch. Here’s the recommendation!

If you get bored with ordinary rice dishes, you can try Balinese nasi campur. Rice is served with a variety of side dishes ranging from chicken, eggs, and vegetables, to sate lilit. This menu is a filling choice for lunch.

Apart from halal meat, Balinese nasi campur is also non-halal. Complementary in the form consists of suckling pig-to-pork skewers.

If you want to try simple Balinese nasi campur recipe, you can go to Nasi Campur Bali Bongkot. The menu choices for nasi campur range from Balinese nasi campur to special made nasi campur recipe.

The Balinese nasi campur menu is served with side dishes of red sisit chicken, betutu chicken, Balinese seasoned fish, chicken satay, sate lilit, lawar jackfruit, Balinese spiced egg, bongkot sauce and a choice of sambal matah or sambal mbe.

If indeed the menu feels too much, they also have a menu of chicken lawar nasi campur where the white rice here is only complemented with red sisit chicken, Balinese spiced egg, lawar jackfruit, and bongkot sambal.

This nasi campur menu with side dishes is priced at IDR 55,000. You can stop by at Kota Kasablanka Mall, Floor 2 Unit 202 or order via the online motorcycle taxi application.

2. Little Ubud

If you are in the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area, you can stop by a Balinese restaurant called Little Ubud. They offer a variety mix of Balinese specialities whose taste and quality are maintained.

Little Ubud offers customers a Balinese nasi campur menu with a wide selection of side dishes. There is Nasi Campur Ubud which is complemented by roasted pork and Balinese pork satay.

There is also a choice bowl of mixed duck rice which is complemented by fried duck, shredded betutu duck, sate lilit chicken, peanuts and stir-fried Balinese vegetables.

If you want a choice of chicken side dishes, you can order chicken nasi campur which is complemented by betutu chicken, shredded chicken, sambal matah, chicken skewers, and Balinese stir-fried steamed vegetables.

3. Smarapura

In Tebet, there is a traditional restaurant that serves delicious Balinese nasi campur. This restaurant, which was selected as a Traveler’s Choice Winner 2020, has a complete selection of Balinese specialities, ranging from snacks, and various rice dishes to skewers.

For mixed rice, there are side dishes complete with shredded chicken and garlic and sate lilit. The taste is known to be unique and rich in spices.

If you want to try another rice menu, you can order nasi krengsengan, a dish which is rice with the addition of stir-fried beef. There is also a tipat santok which is similar to gado-gado with coconut milk a refreshing limo juice.

The price for a typical Balinese food menu in this place is quite affordable, starting from IDR 28,000. Meanwhile, a serving of nasi campur is priced at IDR 39,000.

4. Taliwang Bali

Taliwang Bali Restaurant serves a variety of Balinese and Lombok specialities using ancestral recipes.

This restaurant is indeed owned by real Balinese people so the taste is no longer in doubt. Of course, Taliwang Bali offers delicious Balinese nasi campur dishes served in complete portions.

In one portion, there is rice with a mixture consists of side dishes in the form of chicken, Balinese eggs, sate lilit, sambal matah, Balinese chilli sauce, and urap. The menus offered at Taliwang Bali are also halal so they are safe for consumption by Muslims.

If you want to try other Balinese and Lombok special dishes, there are choices of betutu grilled rice to cakalang sanur grilled garlic rice.

The price for the food menu starts from IDR 62,000. This restaurant can be found at Emporium Pluit, Grand Indo, Pondok Indah Mall 3, and Summarecon Mall Bekasi.

5. Little Bali

One of the nasi campur that can be tasted is Little Bali. This restaurant offers nasi campur dishes and halal meat and authentic Balinese dishes.

They have a nasi campur menu specializing in chicken. For a mixed chicken rice dish, a portion is complete with rice, betutu chicken, sere limo chicken, sate lilit, sambal matah, sambal embe, and urap.

There are also other Balinese specialities that you can try, such as Jinggo rice, Klungkung chicken recipe, Ubud fried beber, and Sanur fish soup recipe.

Little Ubud also serves nasi campur bowls that have been packaged practically so it’s safer if you want to take it home to eat it or order it through an online motorcycle taxi application.

The nasi campur menu is priced at IDR 57,000. Meanwhile, mixed rice bowls are more affordable, priced at only IDR 29,000. Little Ubud is located in Tendean, Ampera and Kelapa Gading.
