Since 2022 Social Expat has been leading the charge in creating a better platform for expats and Indonesians to get daily news, find promotions, get immigration advice and provide the best outlet for events across Jakarta & Bali.

On average we host 8-10 events a month ranging from singles nights, business networking, dance classes, yoga classes, run clubs, themed nights out, social nights, day activities and so much more. No other platform in Indonesia runs as many events as we do!

When building Social Expat, every effort was made to provide a place that truly encompasses expatriate needs. We compared predecessor websites from around the world, we asked expatriates what they wanted from an expatriate platform and we used our own experiences to create a complete website, unlike anything that has ever come before.
