The largest Hindu population in Indonesia is on Bali Island, where they place their faith in their revered deities. Balinese Hindus perform their daily prayers at the temple, just like other Hindus do. That is why there are so many temples in Bali, some of which are even in front of Balinese homes. Tanah Lot

The fact that this temple was constructed in the middle of the sea has contributed to its immense popularity. You can go to the temple and take in the surroundings there while the tide is low. People enjoy the stunning landscape there to photograph the sunset or the temple’s silhouette in the evening.

Luhur Uluwatu Temple

Hinduism reveres the Luhur Uluwatu temple, which is located on a cliff’s edge around 70 meters above sea level. It has distinctive architectural and beautiful surroundings with a view of the Hindia ocean. The Luhur Uluwatu temple is quite well-known for its breathtaking sunset views. While you wait for the sun to set, you may also see the Kecak dance that is performed with Balinese traditional music instruments. Due to the temple’s absolute joy, it is constantly crowded with tourists.

Ulun Danu Temple

One of the most well-known temples in Bali is Ulun Danu. The temple appears to be floating because it is located in the middle of the Beratan Bedugul lake. The temple is surrounded by lovely hills and a little garden, creating a lovely landscape to take in.

Besakih Temple

Besakih Temple is the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia as well as Bali. Both domestic and foreign tourists flock to this temple because of its increasing popularity. The temple is spread out across a bigger area than the average Bali temple and is surrounded by 18 more temples. You’ll find the enormous Besakih temple on the slope of Mount Agung. It offers lovely scenery and is frequently filled with holy objects to support Hindu rituals that are dressed in traditional Balinese clothes.

Saraswati Temple

One of Bali’s most well-known temples is the Sarasvati Temple, which is located on Kanjeng Street in Ubud’s Gianyar neighborhood. This temple includes a lovely park with many lotus-filled pools that are laid out like a small garden. You can enjoy the kecak dance performance on Thursday and Tuesday at the Sarasvati temple park. Usually, the performance takes place in the temple’s yard, with the Sarasvati sculpture in the background.

Tirta Empul Temple

Tirta Empul is located on Tirta Manukan Street, in the Tampaksiring neighborhood of Gianyar. It is really close to the Monkey Forest temple and the Ubud Tegalalang terracing field. To travel to this holy, gorgeous temple, you need to take approximately an hour and a half. Besides the scenery, Tirta Empul is also popular for its holy water. Balinese people think that their gods have brought sacredness and gratitude to the water. The fact that so many people desire to try the water is what makes this temple so well-liked.

Lempuyang Luhur Temple

Lempuyang Luhur is one of Bali’s most well-known temples with amazing an and iconic gate. It features the tallest temple gates, and the Agung mountain serves as the perfect backdrop for a photo session. The Balinese usually called it The Gates of Heaven due to the high and the scenery around it.
