Hotel Mulia: A Luxurious Hotel Like No Other in Jakarta

Share:

Hotel Mulia — You should totally stay in Hotel Mulia if you’re planning to live around the Senayan area. Besides their strategic location, where you can access four malls in Jakarta (Plaza Senayan, Senayan City, Senayan Park (Spark), and FX Sudirman) in under fifteen minutes but also, they provide top-notch services.

First impressions

Hotel Mulia boasts a stay like no other, which we believe that’s the case. Staying in Hotel Mulia doesn’t feel like you’re staying in Jakarta at all. The interior from the lobby to the room itself feels grand and luxurious.

The Room

We stayed in their Mulia Executive Room for our three days and two nights staycations. This room is 48 meters squared completed with 48-inch HD LED TVs and a contemporary style furnishing. It’s a spacious room, with complete amenities and a soft king-sized comfortable bed that can lull you to sleep in a short amount of time. The bathroom is complete with a showerhead and a bathtub, it’s wide and filled with bathroom necessities such as a shower cap, toothbrush, shampoo, soaps, and others.

This room is suited for three people two adults and one child under 12 years old. Other services included if you booked this suite is that they give an exclusive sitting area for buffet breakfast at their restaurant The Café or Mulia Executive Lounge.

Facilities

Other than their grandeur room, we also check out their other facilities such as the swimming pool and gym. The swimming pool is clean and spacious, there are a lot of empty chairs available and it’s pretty much comfortable too. We spent a good amount of time in the swimming pools ordering some snacks and fresh juice to accompany us by the poolside. The next day, we’re lucky to be able to join their Fundamental Yoga class. The instructor is clear and concise, and very helpful in getting our breathing techniques and poses correctly.

Food

The breakfast and room-service food are extraordinary. Hotel Mulia provide a different array of food, from pastries to American to Indonesian cuisines. You can almost find everything you want for your breakfast plus; they have a professional chef present to make your omelette upon request. We tried their Nasi Goreng for room service and it’s on top of the game. It’s seasoned decently and you get a krupuk udang along with it.

Would I go back?

Overall, staying in Hotel Mulia does not disappoint! The staffs and housekeepers are very hospitable and friendly that they’re willing to accommodate your needs even if it’s late at night. Additionally, the room itself is spacious and luscious with comfortable beds and a TV that provide both national and international channels.
