Vegetables and Animal Protein in the Afternoon
For lunch, you have to balance out the nutrition according to your body’s needs. It’s advisable to take some vegetables like kangkong (water spinach), katuk, and spinach with food containing animal protein. It will be much more effective to lose weight by eating these types of food since it’s low in calories but meets the requirement for body fibre.
Animal Protein during Dinner
You can still eat for dinner however, try not to eat anything else from 6 pm and above. It’s so that the digestive system has a resting time to burn the fats collected inside the body. Moreover, eating before 6 pm can lower the probability of blood sugar when sleeping resulting for the accumulation of fat.
Limit Junk Food
Eating snacks while you’re undergoing DEBM diet is not forbidden. However, make sure to limit the consumption of junk food. Furthermore, eating overly sweet snacks can potentially increase your weight resulting in failure to undergo the diet. Additionally, don’t eat anything overly too salty as it can increase water absorption in the body and increase your body weight. If you want to take some snacks, try fresh fruits or low-fat and calorie snacks.
