You might have the Banyumana Twin Waterfall all to yourself since hardly any travellers bother to go there. If you take a scooter or hire a driver for a day tour, you can reach this location in the North of Bali easily from Lovina. The forest trail leading to the falls is manageable, and the plunge pool makes a great spot to cool off from the Bali heat.

Banyumala Twin Waterfall Location

Banyumala Twin Waterfall is situated in the hamlet of Wanagiri, Sukasada, Buleleng Regency, not far from the tourist attraction of Wanagiri Hidden Hill, which is renowned for its stunning picturesque sites with the landscape of Tamblingan and Buyan lakes, also known as Twin Lakes. Unfortunately, no public transportation will take you there, so your best choice is to rent a private vehicle or taxi. It will take about 2 hours to journey from Kuta to Banyumala Waterfall via the Bedugul village path, passing through several tourist attractions such as Candi Kuning Market and Ulun Danu Beratan Temple.

Entrance Fee & Details

The entrance fee would be IDR 30K per person, with the opening hours of 8 am – 6 pm. Children under the age of 10 & elderly are not recommended to visit this waterfall since the trail could be pretty slippery.

Why You Should Visit Banyumala Twin Waterfall

The vast, verdant woodland manages to preserve its attractiveness. A waterfall nearby which remains stunning and very natural is what you would call a secret sanctuary. Plants are dispersed between the boulders as far as the eye can see. This divides the waterfall into two sections which indicate the name of Banyumana Twin Waterfall. Even though the water flow is not as strong as at other waterfalls, the way it descends through the boulders and between the creeping plants is unique and enchanting. The Banyumala Waterfall has three sides, the largest and tallest in the centre and smaller waterfalls on the right and left. It is situated at the edge of a gorge.

The Banyumala Twin Waterfall is well-known due to a pool that naturally developed below the waterfall. Even though the deepest point in this reservoir can reach a depth of 2 meters, the water is so clear that you can even see the bottom of it when observed from above. Once there, the abundance of beauty will tantalize your eyes. This waterfall is perfect for those who enjoy playing in the water, whether swimming or getting soaked. Even though the circumference is only about 20 meters, the landscape there will not bore you.
