As Bali police work to clarify the facts behind Cheng Jianan and Lhi Chiming’s terrible deaths, they also examine the purpose of this heartbreaking tragedy.

“There were no traces of anyone else in the room apart from them, such as fingerprints, blood, or DNA,” said Bambang Yugo Pamungkas, the police chief for Denpasar, Bali.

“The pair returned to Bali on the 27th of April following their initial vacation in March. Following Cheng’s police claim that Lhi had misplaced his passport, they switched hotels the next day,” claims Pamungkas.

Since this terrible event has caused great anguish for the families, Pamungkas stated that police are still looking into a possible cause of the deaths. Pamungkas also ensured that the police did everything they could to uncover the truth about this Chinese couple. suicide-murder case.
