  1. Don’t leave your bags, cell phones, and other personal items on the restaurant’s dining table
  2. Be careful while walking, don’t step on the canang. Canang is an offering by Hindus in Bali for Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa, which is usually placed in various places, even in pedestrian areas.
  3. Don’t pay or give money to other people with your left hand
  4. Be careful while driving in Bali, let alone riding a motorbike. Kahi suggested that taking an online motorcycle taxi (ojol) is better than renting a motorbike. Kahi herself once made content while on an ojol ride
  5. Check the receipt before you pay
  6. Count the total money exchanged at the money exchanging agency before going home and know about your country’s currency exchange rate to rupiah
  7. Always bring a raincoat while you’re going anywhere. In Bali, it can suddenly rain even in the dry season.
  8. Always order bottled mineral water to make it more hygienic.
  9. Don’t throw your trash on the beach because many beaches in Bali are full of garbage. If you don’t want to help pick up trash there, don’t litter.
  10. Don’t mess with wild monkeys in Bali if you don’t want to lose your belongings or even get hurt.
