Over 2,000 aspiring developers have actively participated in the Academy, aiming to kickstart their careers in the iOS app industry. The program encompasses fundamental programming concepts, app design, marketing strategies, project management, and other skills for thriving in the industry.

As a testament to the Academy’s impact, Apple claims that 90 percent of its graduates have gone on to find meaningful employment in various sectors, spanning education, e-commerce, transportation, sustainability, and more.

Apple’s collaboration with Asian content creators

Before meeting Jokowi, Tim Cook made a pit stop to hang with the creative crew in Indonesia. He even shared the moment on his X account, @tim_cook, chilling in a restaurant with some chicken satay on his plate.

Using the Indonesian language, he greeted his followers on X and uploaded a photo with iPhone photographer Sofyan Pratama.

While in Hanoi, Tim Cook met with students, content creators, and users of Apple products to learn about their experiences using the company’s technology. The visit caught the attention of the tech and business community, showing how important Vietnam and Indonesia are in Apple’s global strategy.

Cook’s meeting in Vietnam and subsequent visit to Indonesia show Apple’s increased focus on the Southeast Asian market. While details of Cook’s meeting agenda in Indonesia are yet to be announced, the visit is expected to bring new collaborations and initiatives between Apple and stakeholders in the region.
