Once again, a foreign tourist has left us in disbelief with his peculiar actions. In recent times, we’ve witnessed a number of foreign tourist’s controversial behavior in Bali. However, these instances were often attributed to their financial situations, with many of them either unable or unwilling to pay for their accommodations or transportation.

What sets this incident apart is the setting-a luxury hotel in Bali. It’s a stark contrast to the usual assumption that tourists with financial means would act responsibly. This incident serves as a reminder that no matter the setting, respect and responsibility should always be upheld.

This time, a foreigner was seen soaking his face in a flower pot at the Apurva Kempinski Bali Restaurant.

This incident went viral after being uploaded by TikTok account @milzo09 on Sunday, June 16. In the caption, the account owner mentioned Apurva Kempinski in the hashtag. The couple likely stayed at the 5-star luxury hotel in Nusa Dua.

The video shows a foreign tourist named Max at the Apurva. He then walks towards a large pot of flowers located near the wall.

@milzo09 Who let Max and @Kate Woodland830 go to a posh resort? Sorry #apurvakempinskibali….. #fyp #fypage #foryou #fail #failsoftiktok #failed #epicfail #funnyfailsoftiktok #funny #jokes #bali #travel #faceplant #tourism ♬ original sound – Milzo

His impulsive action, without considering the consequences, led to a disastrous outcome. The flower pot, made of delicate material, couldn’t bear the weight of his body and eventually broke down. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the potential damage that can be caused by thoughtless actions.

Luckily, Max was not seriously injured by the incident. However, his odd behavior drew various comments from netizens.

Many regretted the tourist behavior, which was considered disrespectful of other people’s property.

Perhaps they intended to share the video to entertain people on the internet because it was funny that their actions ended up wet. However, many people were not amused and regretted this action amid the rising misbehavior of tourists in Bali.

This post was not only stormed by Indonesians but also commented on by foreigners. They were united in condemning the ridiculous action.

“You came to Bali without bringing a brain? Why do you have to destroy everything in someone else’s country?” wrote someone.

“Geez, money can’t buy brains,” said another.

And many other snide comments.

It is unclear what happened next due to this foreign tourist’s controversial behavior. Many hope to take responsibility and help the hotel staff clean up the mess.
