Cabinet members with the highest number of Ministers since 1966

If observed, this Cabinet has a large number of Ministers and Deputy Ministers. There are 48 ministries to be formed by Prabowo, plus 5 heads of ministerial-level institutions that are outside the coordination of the coordinating ministry. The number of coordinating ministries is 7.

The number of members in the Red and White Cabinet is also higher than that of various New Order-era cabinets.

The Cabinet with the highest number of members in Indonesian history is the Dwikora II Cabinet. The Cabinet in the Old Order era had 132 members, who served in February 1966.

As for the Merah Putih Cabinet, Prabowo and Gibran split several existing ministries, such as the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, which was split into two ministries.

A major split also occurred in the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, which was split into the Ministry of Law, the Ministry of Human Rights, and the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections.

In addition, Prabowo also created several new ministries.

This also makes Indonesia the Southeast Asian country with the highest number of ministers and heads of institutions. Below Indonesia is Cambodia, with 42 ministers, and Thailand, with 35 ministers.
