A Tourist Visit Visa for Indonesia Requirements

To apply for a Tourist Visit Visa, Pre-Investment Visit Visa or e-VOA, foreigners need to register an account at molina.imigrasi.go.id. After logging in, the applicant can fill in the form provided and upload the required documents. If all data has been confirmed and correct, the applicant can then complete the payment by following the guidelines provided on the website. Furthermore, the visa will be sent electronically to the foreigner’s E-Mail address.

The application will require you to provide documents as follow:

  • Travel documents with the following conditions. An applicant should prepare a passport valid for a minimum of 12 months for a single-entry visitor visa application with a validity period of 180 days and a passport valid for a minimum of six months for a single-entry visitor visa application with a validity period of 60 days
  • A proof of life expense for the applicant and/or their family while in Indonesian territory of at least 2,000 USD or equivalent
  • A return ticket or onward ticket to continue the trip to another country, except for the crew of means of transport which will stop over to join the ship and continue the journey to another country
  • Two copies of coloured photographs with a size of 4 cm x 6 cm

Some highlights about Indonesia Tourist Visit Visa

  • The new Tourist Visit Visa is effective for 60 days only. This visa is given to foreigners to travel to Indonesia on a one-trip visit and is given a stay permit for 60 (sixty) days from the time the entry permit is granted.
  • The new Tourist Visit Visa is non-extendable.
  • Foreign nationals can apply for a Visitor Visa for Tourism and Pre-Investment at molina.imigrasi.go.id starting on 27th January 2023.
  • Applicants would require no guarantor for this type of visa.
  • Foreigners can apply for a Visitor Visa for Tourism and Pre-Investment without requiring a sponsor or deposit money.
  • During the application, the applicants will be granted Pre-Investment Visa valid for 180 days.
