Bali Governor Wayan Koster said the playground would be built on 1,000 hectares of land owned by the Bali Regional Company (Perusda). “There will be a Disneyland-level tourist park built in collaboration with Paramount, and an MoU has been signed,” he said at the Art Center, Denpasar, Tuesday 21st of February 2023.

According to Koster, Paramount Pictures has a program to build world-class amusement parks. Paramount also has avid fans.
