Bali Will Have a Disneyland-Class Amusement Park

Bali will have a Disneyland-class theme park. The amusement park will be built in the Gilimanuk-Mengwi Toll Road area, Jembrana.

Bali Governor Wayan Koster said the playground would be built on 1,000 hectares of land owned by the Bali Regional Company (Perusda). “There will be a Disneyland-level tourist park built in collaboration with Paramount, and an MoU has been signed,” he said at the Art Center, Denpasar, Tuesday 21st of February 2023.

According to Koster, Paramount Pictures has a program to build world-class amusement parks. Paramount also has avid fans.

Jembrana Regent I Nengah Tamba said the construction of Taman Kerti Bali Semesta (TKBS) in Jembrana would be completed in 2026. The Disneyland-class theme park would be built on 600 hectares of land owned by Perumda Kerta Bali Saguna.

“In the near future, around June or July, we will carry out a groundbreaking international class tourism park (TKBS) in Pekutatan Village, Pekutatan District,” said Tamba in Mendoyo, Wednesday, 22nd of February 2023.

Koster likened Paramount’s rabid fans to Lolot Band fans. “Where they play, there are many fans watching,” said the PDI Perjuangan politician.

Koster targets that the groundbreaking or groundbreaking for the playground project can be carried out this year. “Hopefully it goes well,” he hoped.

Previously, PT Kios Ria Kreasi (KIOS) signed a cooperation agreement with Paramount Pictures to build an international theme park in Bali. The agreement was signed on Monday, 25th of July 2022, at the Paramount Pictures studio, in Los Angeles, United States.
