Coldplay Announces Asia & Australia Tour: Jakarta Ticket Sales Starting on May 17th

Coldplay has officially confirmed that they will perform in Jakarta as part of a tour that will take them across Asia and Australia beginning in November of this year. The band’s debut performance in Jakarta will take place on the 15th of November at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, as revealed in the announcement.

According to the website of the band’s promoter, PK Entertainment, Coldplay will embark on the Music Of The Spheres World Tour in November, including a special series of stadium performances in Asia and Australia, including Jakarta

In a video announcement posted on PK Entertainment’s Instagram account, Chris Martin, Coldplay’s main vocalist, stated, “Hello, apa kabar? We are thrilled to announce our first concert in your stunning nation, Indonesia, to all of you. On the 15th of November, we’ll be in Jakarta, Indonesia, and we sincerely hope to run into some of you there.”

On its website, PK Entertainment said that the pre-sales would exclusively be available on the BCA application on the 17th and 18th of May. Then, on Saturday, the 19th of May, the general public can purchase tickets on their website.

The rumours about the band performing in Jakarta have been floating around for several months now. When the announcement was finally official, Coldplay fans all over Indonesia seemed like they couldn’t contain their excitement since this was the first time the band had made their stop in Jakarta.
