As in the following two viral videos featuring foreign tourists from different countries, namely Germany and Mexico.

What makes Bali a place that makes foreign tourists comfortable?
The island of Bali, with its endless beauty and exotic charm, never fails to captivate. Its scenic beauty and the warm hospitality of its original inhabitants make it a truly unique destination.
Apparently, some Balinese habits make tourists feel comfortable in Bali.
1. Friendly
Balinese people have a culture that is always friendly and open to the presence of newcomers. In fact, most Indonesians do have their own way of welcoming guests, which is to be hospitable.
2. Calm athmosphere
We often see the routine of the capital city residents. When they are bored, they choose to refresh for a moment in Bali or even bring their work while healing in Bali.
The Island of the Gods feels so calming and keeps its own impression on tourists.
3. Relatively safe
Indonesia varies greatly from region to region when it comes to safety. Well-populated areas, such as Bali, are regularly patrolled by police and security, and they are somewhat safe. In rural areas, however, safety might be a concern.
If you’re female, you are advised not to walk alone at night, especially in remote or poorly lit areas. If you must be out at night, consider taking a trusted taxi or Gojek/Grab (motorcycle taxi).
4. Believe in karma
The majority of Balinese people believe in karma. The law of Karma ‘works’ when someone commits an act, then he will get the reward. So they believe that if they do evil to others, they will receive the consequences.
This is also what makes many Balinese respect tradition and culture and respect others.
5. Strong hold on tradition
It is undeniable that Bali, which many foreign tourists visit, makes the Island of the Gods easily exposed to outside traditions.
However, the people still hold on to their traditions by practising their beliefs. This can be seen in their daily lives, buildings, and appearance, as they still often wear traditional Balinese clothes.
Travelling in Bali is safe and fun as long as you use common sense. However, it is important to stay alert, especially at night, and avoid less crowded places. Be careful in remote areas, as there have been some reports of harassment.
