After stripping off her clothes naked and dancing around the stage during a Hindu dance performance in Ubud, Bali, a 28-year-old German tourist might go to jail. Darja Tuschinski allegedly forced her way past security on the 22nd of May, 2023, after being refused a ticket to the performance at a temple in Ubud. She then reportedly took off her clothing.
In a video, Tuschinski can be seen strolling past the dancers, posing, and bowing to a bystander who tried to remove her from the stage. The German tourist was later captured on camera kneeling at a shrine and appearing to pray.
Meanwhile, the dancers on stage maintained a remarkable concentration throughout the performance.
The video clip of Tuschinski crashing the Balinese dance performance at Saraswati temple has gone viral on social media, with outraged netizens calling for the naked German tourist to get deported from the country.
The crowd sat stunned as the naked German tourist resumed her bizarre naked protest. Security personnel eventually managed to remove Tuschinski from the stage, and she was turned over to the authorities.
A conviction for public obscenity might result in a jail term of up to two years and eight months for the naked German tourist. The incident happened at around 8 p.m.
It was not the first time that Tuschinski’s naked protest had been reported, according to Bali Police spokesperson Stefanus Satake Bayu Setianto.
“She lives alone. The German tourist was frequently spotted naked around her villa while staying at Ubud Bungalow,” Setianto continued.
According to the local press, Ubud District Chief Wayan Widana stated that Tuschinski suffered from a mental health issue and had gotten anxious about money during her lengthy vacation in Indonesia.
The Saraswati Ubud Temple staff officially apologised to all of the audience that night after these horrendous incidents involving the naked German tourist. A purification ceremony was then done to remove the negative energy left by the naked German woman.
Recently, Bali has battled with an influx of incidents involving unruly tourists who either broke the law or disrespected Balinese holy places & ceremonies.
