The first Golden Disc Awards Jakarta is set to take place at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) on Saturday, 6 January 2024. The official announcement of this event was confirmed by NICE Entertainment, the event’s promoter, during a press conference on 8 November 2023.
This marks the 38th-anniversary celebration of the Golden Disc Awards and is eagerly awaited by K-pop enthusiasts in Indonesia. In 2023, the GDA event was held on 7 January 2023, at Rajamangala Stadium in Thailand, shortly after their announcement in December 2022.

The selection of Jakarta as the host city for the 2024 Golden Disc Awards was driven by the substantial and growing K-pop fanbase in Indonesia. Over the past five years, GDA has been organized in various Asian nations, including Japan, Malaysia, China, and Thailand.
Golden Disc Awards 2024 Line-Up
Annually, the Golden Disc Awards unveil multiple nominations across categories like Digital Song Division Bonsang (Main Award), Album Division Bonsang (Main Award), and Rookie Artist of The Year.
The 2022 GDA event saw the attendance of numerous prominent stars, including NewJeans, Le Sserafim, Treasure, and even one member of BTS, J-Hope. There’s a lot of curiosity surrounding the lineup for the 2024 Golden Disc Awards, with fans speculating about the participating artists.
Nice Entertainment, the event’s promoter, responded to these rumours by announcing that the nominations would be revealed on 4 December 2023.
According to a statement from the Head of Marketing Communication, Rizdania Herlendita, they are preparing to unveil 12 acts that will grace this prestigious award.
While the confirmed attendees are still uncertain, many are speculating that well-known groups like Enhypen, Seventeen, NewJeans, and possibly a member of BTS (Jungkook) could be among the attendees.
