Influencer and Husband of Actress Jennifer Coppen, Dali Wassink, Dies in an Accident in Sanur, Bali

The husband of artist Jennifer Coppen, Yitta Dali Wassink, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024, in Bali. He was of Thai and Dutch descent and died at the age of 22.

The man, who is also familiarly called an influencer named Papa Dali, died after a single accident on Jalan Sunset Road, Kuta, Bali. He had an accident while riding a motorcycle.

Head of Bali Police Public Relations, Kombes Jansen Avitus Panjaitan, revealed a brief chronology of the accident experienced by Dali Wassink.

When the accident occurred, Dali Wassink is riding the vehicle at such a high speed that he could not control the motorcycle. The tragic accident happened when Dali crashed into the road divider.

“Initially, before the incident, the Kawasaki motorcycle rider DK 5555 KSW was moving from north to south at high speed, he could not control his vehicle and swerved to the right and hit the road island divider,” said Kombes Jansen Avitus Panjaitan based on the official statement received by media in Indonesia.

Jansen also mentioned that the victim was riding a Kawasaki-brand motorcycle and fell alone without being involved in other people’s vehicles.

Due to the accident, Dali received severe injuries in the chest, ribs, and back area. Dali was then rushed to BIMC Hospital, Kuta, Badung, Bali, but unfortunately, his life could not be helped, and he was declared dead.

“Died at BIMC Hospital, Kuta, Badung,” explained Jansen.

Influencer and actress Jennifer Coppen previously reported that her husband, Yitta Dali Wassink, died on Thursday at the age of 22. However, she did not reveal the cause of Dali’s death.

“Innalillahiwainnailaihirojiun, my beloved husband, Yitta Dali Wassink, passed away on Thursday at 02.20 WITA,” Jennifer wrote in an Instagram post.

“As we know, Papa Dali was a cheerful, kind, polite person, and loved by everyone. He always learned to be a good father for Kamari, a good husband for me, and a good son for his parents,” she wrote.

Jennifer also asked all her fans and relatives to respect her privacy and the family left behind in this moment of grief. She also asked for forgiveness and prayers from those who knew the deceased.
