Karang Nini Beach in Pangandaran, Indonesia is located behind a hill and surrounded by forest. This is a State Forest Area managed by Perum Perhutani. The Legend of Karang Nini Beach

Karang Nini Beach is operationally open from morning to evening. The price of admission to this beach is quite cheap, only IDR 5,000 per person and it includes insurance.

Don’t forget to pay the parking fee, for motorbikes the price is usually set at IDR 2,000 per motorbike and IDR  5,000 for cars.

What to Do in Karang Nini

Flora and Fauna Tourism

However, the current condition of the Menara Pandang stairs is inadequate to be used as a foothold for visitors.

Goa Keramat

There are several sacred caves such as Dompet Cave and Panjang Cave which are believed to be the passage to the Cirebon Kasunanan.

Parat Cave and Pendek Cave, each of which has a different history and uniqueness.

Muara Cipa Bongkokan

At Karang Nini tides, in this estuary we can see various types of ornamental fish that are on the sidelines of the coral reefs.

However, be careful because this estuary contains a lot of coral reefs and it could hurt your feet.

Hills

On this hill, visitors can relax under the shade of trees and grass. The visitors can also enjoy the view directly facing the open sea. When the fishing season arrives, visitors can find anglers around the hill.

Camping Ground

This camping ground location can accommodate up to 300 visitors. Just like the camping ground at Madasari Beach, if you want to spend the night in the forest in the coastal area, this camping ground area is perfect as your choice to get closer to nature.

Access and Routes to Karang Nini Beach

Even though this beach has beautiful views, it is a pity that the entrance to this beach, which is about 2 km, is still inadequate, with small roads and lots of uphill and downhill roads. To get to the beach location, you have to walk about 200 meters from the vehicle parking lot and you have to be careful because the road is only footpaths and is still dirt, grass and rocks.

When the rainy season arrives, the road conditions will become very slippery. Even so, it’s a shame if you miss this one beach. For those of you who want to travel from outside the city, there are many accesses that you can choose either by land or by air.
