About Ashish Sudhakar
I am Ashish Sudhakar, the Global Sales Director for Ozark Solutions. Ozark is a Technology Infrastructure Systems Integrator primarily targeting large Data Centers. I’ve always been fascinated by how (the application of) technology has grown over the last few years. Technology is now used in almost every sphere of life, and it is next to impossible to not use it. Being part of a technology business allows me to contribute to how technology can positively influence the quality of life.
Why did you start Ozark Solutions?
As technology grows, there is a constant need for innovative solutions and quality service for maintaining the level of service. We decided to step in because we believe we can contribute towards the innovation and provide that level of support, which, to an extent is lacking in the industry.
Tell us more about Ozark Solutions!
Ozark is a Technology Infrastructure Systems Integrator primarily targeting large Data Centers. In simple words, this means providing hardware, infrastructure, laying the cables, setting up the WiFi, ensuring the physical and cyber security, networking; all of these may seem routing or mundane tasks, but it only takes one outage to realise how dependant we are on this ecosystem. In short these are things that keep the internet and “the cloud” alive.
What are the challenges of running a business in Jakarta?
Having worked in several countries, I understand that to successfully execute a business, it is important to understand the local culture to get the business going. You need to show people that you are here to grow with them, and not compete with them. Each country has its own pace, its own rules and its own views. It can be challenging when dealing with large projects across multiple locations and multiple stakeholders. As always, the way out is being calm, sensible and with a smile.
So where do you see your businesses in 10 years?
I see Ozark as one of the premier partners for Data Centers in the region. I see Ozark generating a Center of Excellence where local talent is trained, groomed and the quality of service is improved.
Do you have any business advice or a business mantra you live by?
Business is always done at it’s own pace. Learn the pace and understand how to use it towards your advantage. Build relationships since business is usually done with those you trust.
