The Bali government has put considerable effort into bolstering the tourism sector to enhance both foreign and domestic visits. The actual count of foreign tourists reached 4.8 million, surpassing the initial target of 4.5 million.

As the year-end holiday brings an influx of tourists to Bali, hotel occupancy rates have also surged in 2023. Presently, the average hotel occupancy hovers between 75-90%, with the Denpasar Government aiming for full occupancy reaching 100% by early 2024.

Before and after the New Year celebrations, tourists typically stay in Bali for 5-7 days. Several key areas experience high tourist density during this year-end holiday, including Denpasar, Kuta, Ubud, Sanur, Uluwatu, and Kintamani, renowned for its breathtaking mountain and lake vistas.

Numerous tourist destinations await visitors during the year-end holiday in Bali. Free fireworks displays light up various spots like Kuta Beach or Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park. Additionally, renowned beach clubs like Atlas, Finns, CANNA, and Mrs Sippy host New Year celebration parties that are not to be missed.
