The Seminyak, Legian and Kuta (Samigita) Beach arrangement project has been completely completed.

Even so, because it is still under maintenance status for two years, the handover process from the partner to the Badung Regency Government cannot be carried out. Nevertheless, the public can already use the new facilities on the beach.

Badung Regent I Nyoman Giri Prasta confirmed that the Samigita Beach area can already be used for community activities. Although there is no handover activity from the contractor to the government. “We are not going to talk about ceremonial matters. If it can be used or used, we will carry out the Hindu ritual, namely Pemelapasan Alit,” said Regent Giri Prasta on the sidelines of the activity of handing over creative funds to Sekaa Teruna at the Giri Nata Mandala Cultural Center, Tuesday, 14th February 2023.

The Regent said that the release ceremony was planned to be carried out in the near future. Moreover, this release is a very important thing to do. Even with the level of Alit’s release, this is intended for the convenience of using Samigita Beach in the future. “We will carry out the implementation this month. March at the latest,” said the Regent from Pelaga Village, this evening.

On the other hand, the Regent of Giri Prasta also said that the Samigita Beach arrangement project would continue. Because in the future there will be a restructuring of the penyengker wall, especially in Legian and Kuta. This is of course intended to make the area look more beautiful. “For the wall, we will do it well. Work has started in March,” he said.

As is known, the Badung Regency Government will again beautify the Kuta and Legian beach areas. The Badung Regency Government plans to renovate the Penyengker wall on the beach which is one of the tourist attractions in the Kuta District. This is done because the existing wall is too high and covers the beauty of the beach. It is planned that the 2-meter-high wall will be made with a size of 60 cm. The construction of this wall will use pressed bricks in a Balinese style.
