Le Mayeur passed away on May 31, 1958. His loving couple had no children, but the well-designed mansion serves as a memorial and gallery showcasing his work. The museum has about 80 paintings. All the paintings are amazing with such details.

The tour includes the artist’s studio, reading room, bedroom, Nipolok vanity, and bathroom with the mediums such as hardboard, plywood, canvas, and paper. 

Carved wood dominates the furnishings, and window frames feature motifs inspired by wayang characters (shadow puppets).
