Despite the previous cancellation in Indonesia, Bring Me The Horizon is scheduled to perform in Jakarta in August 2024.

Metal music lovers, especially Bring Me The Horizon fans in Indonesia, experienced frustration when their favorite band’s concert was stopped last year. Yes, in November 2023, Bring Me The Horizon had a two-day sold-out concert in Jakarta.

But the concert was stopped on the first day due to a technical error, and then it was canceled on the second day. Fans who are sad that they cannot watch their favorite band perform can now watch Bring Me The Horizon.

What’s more, this time, Indonesia stands out as the sole Southeast Asian country to host Bring Me The Horizon’s performance, making it an exclusive event for the country’s metal music enthusiasts.

The news of Bring Me the Horizon’s appearance was announced by Ravel Entertainment as the promoter. The band will attend the Nexfest 2024 festival on August 25 at Carnaval Ancol, Jakarta.

Krisna Gunawan, the creative Director of Ravel Entertainment, emphasized that the band’s upcoming performance is a testament to the promoter’s commitment to make up for the disappointment of the previous cancellation in November 2023.

“This Nex Fest is our responsibility to you, and I hope you (the fans) can understand and accept it,” Krisna said, as reported in Kompas.

In addition to Bring Me The Horizon, Nexfest 2024 will also feature Japanese kawaii metal band Babymetal.

Krisna said the Japanese kawaii metal band was appointed because of the potential for collaboration with Bring Me The Horizon. The two may even perform their duet single, Kingslayer.

In addition to the two big bands, several local metal bands are also at the NEX Fest Indonesia music festival. Some bands confirmed to join are Deadsquad, Saint Loco, Burgerkill, For Revenge, and Strangers.
