Swinger Ride Collapsed at Banyuwangi Night Amazing, 3 Visitors Injured

On 25 December 2023, during the Christmas celebrations, a sudden collapse of the Swinger ride at Banyuwangi Night Amazing injured three visitors. As Acting Genteng Police Chief IPTU Nanang Wardana reported, the incident took place at 9 pm local time while several visitors were enjoying the Swinger ride.

Following the mishap, personnel from Banyuwangi Night Amazing swiftly evacuated the victims and transferred them to Genteng Hospital for necessary medical care. A video shared by @beritatemanbanyuwangi on Instagram depicted a tense atmosphere at the gaming venue, causing panic among other visitors.

 


Zaenal Alvaro, the BNA management staff reported that the chronology began when the Swinger ride was halted as one of the operators sensed something unusual about it. Shortly after, the vehicle collapsed, causing injuries to both visitors and employees.

As of 28th December 2023, the police continue their investigation into the management of Banyuwangi Night Amazing. Allegations suggest that a loose hinge on the ride might have led to its collapse, resulting in injuries to the victims.

The Banyuwangi Police have summoned three individuals as witnesses: Ahmad Rudi Firmansyah, the Head of BNA Security Coordinator, Budi Santoso, the daily technician, and Ali Muksin, the swinger unloading worker.

The incidents at Banyuwangi Night Amazing demand serious attention from its managers. Security stands as a crucial factor that must be ensured at a theme park and similar tourist destinations.

Consequently, there’s significant public anger and disappointment on social media. To manage the prolonged holiday season, the management should conduct regular checks on all their vehicles.
