Besides Bali, Lombok is another place that is also a favourite holiday destination for foreign tourists in Indonesia.

Gili Trawangan is the largest Gili in northwestern Lombok. It is often the destination for those looking to enjoy a short vacation on a secluded island without sacrificing comfort, thanks to its wide range of accommodation options and beachfront bars and restaurants.

Apart from having easy access to white sandy beaches and surrounding waters suitable for snorkelling and scuba diving, tourists can also enjoy an island atmosphere free of air and noise pollution.

Motorized vehicles are prohibited here, and only two modes of transportation are used, namely cidomo (horse-drawn carriage) and bicycle.

In the video, Maddie also states that only delmans (horse-drawn carriages) and bicycles are allowed on this island.

Gili Trawangan is indeed a recommendation for an interesting tourist spot to visit, but it must be known that visitors will not find motorized vehicles, both two and four wheels.

This is because the local government of Lombok does not allow transportation, the goal is to keep the air in the area free from police.

The use of motorized and electric vehicles is allowed if there is an urgent or emergency event.

In essence, tourists who enjoy Gili Trawangan will feel comfortable cycling because they are free to stop anywhere and are not disturbed by motorized vehicle lanes. Gili Trawangan is indeed free of motorized vehicles. Here, there are only cidomo or typical Lombok delmans and bicycles.

2. Cimodo ride

Gili Trawangan tourism offers a unique travel experience compared to other Gili tours. There are no motorized vehicles in Gili Trawangan. The only means of transportation available are bicycles (for rent) and cidomo or horse-drawn carriages.

When arriving at the Gili Trawangan port dock, tourists can choose between two types of transportation. Cidomo can be chartered on the spot for IDR 150 thousand, and it can carry 3-4 passengers in one trip.

While riding a bicycle or electric bike costs IDR 50 thousand for one bicycle.

3. Snorkeling

4. Visit a night bar
