Living World, a shopping centre with the concept of “Home Living & Entertainment” developed by Kawan Lama Group, officially opened its third mall in Denpasar City, Bali, on Friday, 24th of March. The Director, Theresia Setiadjaja, said, “It is an honour for us to present Living World in Denpasar, a mall designed to be more than just a shopping place but also a favourite destination for locals and tourists to meet their needs, get entertained, and enjoy a glimpse of Balinese culture.

To realise this vision, it carries the concept of “5 Marvellous  Worlds of Living World”, highlighting various advantages in its architecture, facilities, and infrastructure.” From an architectural standpoint, the interior and exterior design of Living World Denpasar is full of Balinese cultural nuances, with a gate and fountain in the lobby and iconic ornaments that adorn the mall, representing the beauty of the Island of the Gods.

Living World Denpasar is also designed to be an environmentally friendly mall, with the application of the concept of energy-efficient architecture (architecture with efficient use of energy) in building infrastructure systems, starting from high-efficiency air conditioning systems, the use of solar panels on the roof of the mall, the use of LED lighting types in the majority of mall lighting, and utilising sunlight as natural lighting, as well as the concept of a minimised wastewater management system that manages the return of dirty water waste from watering plants and filling ponds.

Apart from shopping at the tenants in the commercial area, visitors can also visit open areas presented by Living World Denpasar. Among them is the sidewalk area, where visitors can exercise or just walk while enjoying river views along the mall area.

The visitors can also take advantage of the open areas in Living World for various arts and cultural performances, namely a theatre with a capacity of 500 people and a rooftop community park. In addition, some of these open areas are designed to accommodate the comfort of customers who want to play with their pets.
